Jazz guitarist Libor Šmoldas plays the Jazz Acoustics Gig 2i 250W jazz amplifier.

Libor Šmoldas, a well-known jazz guitarist, is currently testing our customized jazz combo amp Gig 2i 250W. The combo is equipped with a 250W high-efficiency amplifier, a sound character switch, and the Eminence Beta 8" speaker, popular among jazz players.

Thanks to the way the acoustic circuit of the cabinet is tuned, the jazz combo provides a pleasant, soft sound that can remind us of the sound of larger Polytone amplifiers. In this design, we replaced the original cabinet, welded from sheet aluminum, with a cabinet made of musical birch plywood. This allowed us to eliminate internal reinforcement ribs that suppress resonance while maintaining the same weight.
