2024 Guitar armoury at Barca

After the first two warm-up rounds, which took place in the intimate environment of the Prague club Malostranská Beseda, Mato and his friends decided to organize something bigger...
Guitar fans from all over the country gathered at Barca, who didn't miss the opportunity to see and experience the best that the domestic guitar scene has to offer, from the guitarists themselves to the top of the domestic production of guitars, amps, effects and other guitar equipment. Visitors could meet in person, for example, the world-renowned Antonín Salva and David Karon from KHDK, tube amplifier maker Peter Faiereisl and his ESH Amplification brand, or play boutique guitars and effects from LeeHooker. From Moravia came to Prague to show their work Pavel Horky and Hot Amps, Miroslav Belik for King Pickups or Radim Syvala with his effects Red Ant Stompboxes. Modern instruments were represented by Aviator Guitars, Bach Music, Coffee Audio or Red Bird Instruments. There were also cases and cases from Šiba, pickups from Tůma Pickups, guitars and much more from Henry's or unique metal guitars from Milan Černý's Miles Guitars. There were a total of 23 exhibitors in the main hall of the House of Culture and visitors enjoyed everything to the full from early noon until the evening hours.
But it doesn't stop there. In the adjacent garden, the outdoor stage hosted an accompanying program where there was playing and chatting and where visitors could enjoy the performances of well-known guitarists such as Ota Váňa from the band Kabát, Adam Krofian, Pavel Marcel (Michal Prokop), Lukáš Chromek (Ewa Farna) or Honza Křížek, who recalled his time in Radim Hladík's band Blue Effect in several songs. The young blood was represented by three of the fastest guitarists in the country at the moment, Jiří Rambousek, Jiří Háb and Karol Komanda, who closed the day with an energetic concert with his band Karol Komenda Group, where Mato Misik also appeared as a guest. Special guest of this guitar feast was Australian blues nomad Gwyn Ashton, who performed his unique “one man show” program.
