Line Outputs OUT MASTER 1+2+3+4+5+6. Use with mixing consoles without input pads.

The line outputs on Jaaz Acoustics Compact 6i amplifiers and other versions in the 6i configuration (six inputs), marked as OUT MASTER, have variable output voltage depending on the positions of the VOLUME and MASTER controls. This may sometimes cause problems during live performances when connected to a mixing console.

If, during musical performances, sound engineers use mixers without the option of input padding (PAD means Passive Attenuation Device, a built-in or inline switch that reduces the strength of a high-level audio signal), and the performer needs high stage volume (high setting of the MASTER control), the output line voltage may be higher than the maximum input voltage that the mixer can process.

In such a case, it is possible to use a line-level XLR-to-XLR PAD on the OUT MASTER line output of Jaaz Acoustics amplifiers, which easily resolves such a situation.
